Its addictive and its fun. What more could you want from a game that involves whales and flying.
Yes I said flying.
Capturing some of the best attributes of modern touch screens and the best of existing gaming, Whale Trail takes you on a flight of hope for a cute little whale called Willow flying using swooping patterns to stay up in the air as she whizzes through a beautiful rainbow to escape the evil Baron von Barry and the menacing black clouds.
Yes, its beautiful to look at and even the soundtrack is addictive. Some of our colleagues here at WDCS can be heard playing just to hear the music.
The Guardian newspaper said that "It sounds absurdly twee and, yes, it is. But it is also just lovely to look at and beautifully responsive - though youd expect nothing less from the games creator, the achingly cool digital design agency Ustwo"
The team at WDCS believe that this is a great little game for all ages - just be prepared to suspend doing anything else for several hours a day :-)
Now if only whales could really fly, then maybe they would be easier to protect. And in fact, the team at Ustwo have said that if they reach their targets for downloads they will be looking to help WDCS with support to protect Willows friends in the real world.
So get downloading and save the whale!
