By pressuring fish suppliers and retailers we can help make sure the food we eat is not contributing to the whaling industry in Iceland. You can change the way big international companies do business and this makes a massive difference.
Take a look at this most recent example. Findus will now not do business with Grandi. This will hurt the whalers in the pocket.
What Findus says now…
"Findus Group supports WDCS's campaign as we understand that many people in the UK have serious concerns over the practice of commercial whaling. We make every effort to ensure that our commercial activities do not directly support businesses which carry out or profit from commercial whaling activities. We believe this is what our customers would wish for and expect of us, and is in line with our Fish For Life approach to responsible fish procurement."

Findus group also confirmed to WDCS that the single occasion that it purchased products from HB Grandi would not be repeated: "HB Grandi is now clearly marked as not approved on the supplier data base across all our markets."
