Dead Whale Swallowed Plastic Blown Into The Sea

A sperm whale found dead on a Spanish beach is believed to have died after swallowing plastic used in agricultural polytunnels.

Researchers believe that the whales may mistake the plastic for squid. Plastic waste like this is often blows into the sea from land, and its effects on whales and dolphins is causing more and more concern.
