Expose Reveals Horrible Conditions At Marineland, Canada

A series of investigative articles published in Canadian newspaper, The Star, detail the suffering of marine mammals at the Ontario-based theme park.

More recently, a male orca, Ike, was transferred back to SeaWorld in San Diego after concerns for his health were issued, leaving a sole orca, Kiska, isolated in these poor conditions.

Among the littany of abuses cited include poor water quality that has led to blindness and skin lesions, death of a baby beluga through improper care and intervention, and shortage of adequate staff to care for the marine mammals housed there.
