Unless otherwise stated, events are free (donations gratefully received) with a variety of activities to suit all ages. All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear appropriate clothing to match weather conditions, respect the local wildlife and be prepared to have lots of fun!

April

Wildlife Warriors 
Wednesday 1st April 2pm-4pm

Spey Bay’s fantastic wildlife Kid’s club!  Each week of Easter will have a different theme.  £2 per child, aimed at children aged 4-10. Children must be accompanied by an adult.  Booking is essential and early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.  Themes are still to be confirmed, please call 01343 820 339 for more information.

The Really Wild Festival
Monday 4th May (10:30am-4:30pm)

Join us at the Scottish Dolphin Centre and on the Scottish Wildlife Trust reserve for a fun filled day celebrating the wild side of Spey Bay!

This free event will be packed with fun, interactive activities for all ages; including land based dolphin watching, guided walks, competitions, traditional music, food from Scotland's larder, local produce, entertainment and much more.

Admission is free, Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Otter and Osprey Walk
Friday 10th July (7pm-9pm)

Summer is here, the ospreys have returned from their winter stay in Africa and the elusive otter may be spotted fishing in the River Spey. Join us for a riverside ramble and discover more about these fabulous creatures and where to find them.

£3 per person. Booking is essential.  The walk is suitable for all ages, however children must be accompanied by an adult.  Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

Pirate Day
Sunday 16th August (10:30am-4:30pm)

After the huge success of our first ever Pirate Day last year, we have decided to do it all over again. Ooh arr join in the mutiny at Spey Bay as it’s the last weekend before ye summer holidays end! Walk the plank, enter ye best dressed competition, find ye loot on the treasure hunt and sample pirate cuisine in the café quarters. No booking is necessary and admission to the event is free. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Twilight Walk
Friday 28th August (8pm-10pm)

As the sun sets, a mysterious world awakens; uncover the unknown with our guide on our Twilight Walk. Look for bats and moths, listen out for owls and lay in wait for other creatures of the night! 
£3 per person. Booking is essential (please call before 4pm on the day of the walk). The walk is suitable for all ages, however children must be accompanied by an adult.

Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear and bring a torch and binoculars if possible.

September

Live Music at the Icehouse
Saturday 12th September (7:30pm-9:30pm)

Join us in the historic Tugnet Icehouse for an evening of live music entertainment. Bring your own bottle or enjoy tea and coffee served throughout the night. Prices, and our performers for the evening coming soon.

Halloween
Saturday 31st October (6pm-7:30pm)

Ghastly ghouls, devilish demons and spooky spectres await you in the Icehouse.  There will be games, music, fancy dress and pumpkin soup so come along and join the fun!
