The Scottish Dolphin Centre is based in a beautiful location at the mouth of the River Spey. The reserve is home to a huge amount of wildlife making it perfect for those who are looking for a corporate day with a difference.
What’s on offer?
- Land based dolphin watching Participate in hands on training and learn to identify the variety of different whales and dolphins we see around the Scottish coastline. Join members of our team on Shorewatch Hill to look out for our resident population of the largest bottlenose dolphins in the world and record the vital data we capture.
- Wildlife walks
Join one of our experienced guides for a ramble along the River Spey. Learn about the array of flora and fauna here and keep an eye out for osprey, seals and maybe even a shy otter.
Experience the Dry dive, showing the underwater marvels of the Moray Firth whilst keeping dry within the vaults of our Icehouse. Then take a guided tour of the rest of this historic building. Learn about the fishing history of Spey Bay and get up close to our collection of huge whale and dolphin bones.
- Beach cleans
Help give something back to the environment by assisting in a Spey Bay beach clean. Collect as much debris as possible and assist in the protection of the marine and land species who rely on this stunning natural beauty spot.

With our own café on site we can provide breakfast, lunch and refreshments throughout your visit. We can also offer the use of our education room (subject to availability) for a meeting or training session with a difference. The room offers seating, tables and access to a projector with the ability to display power points, presentations or other media. The education room is situated within the walls of our Harbour garden, with large windows overlooking a bright and beautiful view of the nature just outside the door.
