Based at the mouth of the River Spey on the southern side of the Moray Firth on the east coast of Scotland, our centre is about an hour’s drive from Inverness. Set on a 450 hectare nature reserve with exhibitions, café and shop, it’s a fantastic day out!
The Centre is based in a wildlife haven that is home to ospreys, grey and harbour seals, otters, wildfowl and waders. Part of a 450 hectare nature reserve, it is a breathtaking and truly unique part of Scotland.

Directions to the Centre: The A96 runs between Inverness and Aberdeen and Spey Bay lies about half way along. Turn off the A96 between Mosstodloch and Fochabers onto the B9014 which branches off along the River Spey. Turn where you see the brown Tourist Information sign for the Moray Firth Wildlife Centre. Follow this road all the way to the end where it forks and the right fork will lead you to the WDCS Wildlife Centre car park.

Admission is FREE!
Opening times for 2010: 10.30am - 5pm. We reopen (weekends only) on Feb. 13th. 7 days a week from March 27th.
